Carers’ Support Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees meets four or five times a year to monitor and review strategy and agree policies and budget to enable us to achieve our objectives.

The Board of Trustees are all volunteer directors of the charity, recruited according to their skills and experience, to safeguard the good name and values of the organisation and to ensure financial stability.

Each trustee uses their individual skills and experience to lead on key issues, providing guidance and contributing to sub groups with specialist knowledge.

Could you commit to being a trustee?

Are you willing to devote some of your free time and effort to Carers’ Support?

All new trustees have an induction and training is provided through the Carers Trust to help understand the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship, to ensure the organisation complies with our Governing Document and Charity Law.
