Carers’ Support provide Information, advice, practical and emotional support for families neighbours and friends who are living with the effects of substance misuse.

Meet with others and share experiences in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Discuss issues, find encouragement in a non-judgemental, empathetic group. Get together with like-minded people in an informal group, talking about similar issues and hearing other people’s experiences and strategies can help to relieve some of your stress, improve your confidence, build up your self esteem and help you to keep on caring

Through our telephone support you can know that you are talking to someone who understands the issues you have to cope with. Our Outreach Workers are also happy to discuss issues face to face at Norman House or at a suitable venue of your choice.

Caring with confidence Caring with Confidence is a new, free course especially designed for carers. It is run over seven weeks, one day a week, with every session lasting three hours including a half-hour break
